Khan Amal Aruktai Khulan
Amal Khulan is the current
Khan of the
Khanagate of Saishir. He has served as Khan since the death of his father Aruktai Khulan in the year 922.
Personal Life
Amal Khulan married at the age of 19 to
Cirina Khulan, now deceased. The couple had one child,
Meril Khulan, now first-in-line to inherit the Khanagate.
Political Career
Early in his reign, Amal Khulan was highly favored by his constituents. The country's economy blossomed under his rule, and he strengthened trade relations with
the United Federation of Saar'gasi, which had historically been unstable.
However, his popularity has decreased steadily over the past 20 years. Many suspect that he was behind the death of his late wife Cirina Khulan, as she perished under suspicious circumstances. Furthermore, Saishir's domestic relationship with Saar'gasi has grown tense over recent years due to conflicts over control of River Kosash.
