The Traveler

"My mother would always pray to the traveler;  viewing changes or challenges in our life as reassurances and signs that he was watching over us.  I always thought she was reading into things; looking for comfort and meaning in the day to day.  He... she, it, or whatever, is storied to be the creator and protector of our people."  -Fork
What the party knew beforehand of the Traveler depends heavily on the individual.  Tilly and Brian had never heard of him until the party found themselves in the jungles of Xen'Drik, supposedly touched by the Traveler by way of The Traveler's Curse.   Bulgey and Vita have heard of the Traveler and the Traveler's Curse on Xen'Drik, in a casual manner that most people of Eberron would have of its pantheon of gods, The Nine and Six.     Fork appears to have a somewhat more personal understanding of the god, but from the way he tells it, it was largely vicariously through his mother.  The party did witness him muttering prayers under his breath when they encountered the stone archways, upon which Fork identified a symbol of The Traveler;  four bones etched with runes, crossed over each other.
