Personal history
Sébastien was born in Kurleigh during the height of confusion over the new magic enveloping the world. He was accustom to the chaos and enjoyed being a bit of an anarchist during his teenage years. Sébastien actively sought out the Pasture family shortly after their emergence as a figurehead of Kurleigh. He requested transformation and though it took some time for Esther Pasture to figure out the ethics of such a request, she eventually consented. Sébastien was turned and joined the family. He would go on to become a high ranking officer in Kurleigh Castle's Military Police force until tragedy befell his brother in 1002.
After Thibaud was murdered, Sébastien worked relentlessly to find the killer but came up with nothing. Eventually Esther urged the family to move on from this, as Thibaud wouldn't have wanted them to ruin themselves. This wasn't acceptable to Sébastien. During a significant fight with Esther he renounced his family name and left with several of his siblings who shared his views. Since then he has been keeping a low profile in the Undercity, but he's never given up the search for Thibaud's killer.
