The Overlord
While the term is generally used for the profession Overlord, the term also specifically applies to the leaders of Denyithragorathia. Some other countries have been known to periodically use the title as primary form of address for their leaders, but it's mostly just Gorathia.
Notable Holders
- Beizun the Caustic: on documents, his full formal Overlord name was Ragno Beizun. He retired to Varios under the name Reiman Battle, which was presumably his name before he became Overlord in the first place, and now his granddaughter is queen.
- Dramonger the Second: it is important to note that there was not ever a Dramonger the First. Dramonger the Second is quite famous, even in circles outside of Gorathia.
- Dramonger III: notable for his exploits, and for his many friendships with his fellows, and for having a lot of children, most of whom turned against him.
- Mariamne the Radical: her last name was Rapaport, and she was the first of three successive Overlords who were sisters. Was one of the original creators of the Overlord’s Code.
- Melisandra the Strong, or Melisandra IV: her last name was Rapaport, and she was the second of three successive Overlords who were sisters.
- Merula the Black: her last name was Rapaport, and she was the third of three successive Overlords who were sisters
- Perman the Battered: famous for his constant stream of injuries.
- Taskus the Maudlin: notably depressed for most of his life. During one period of particular depression, his people ordered a dragon to try and cheer him up. This failed spectacularly. Until quite recently, this was observed as the last dragon attack.
