Product of Innovation

The Blentara is not native to any region. It is a variation of the Entar family of plants, a citrus tree found on P'Ache Minor which is known for its fast-growing, nutrient-rich fruit. When the Primians landed on P'Ache Minor they were instantly besotted with the exotic flavour, that was so unlike anything they had on P'Ache Prime.   However, the fruit of the entar tree did not travel well, so they were unable to transport it back. Entar requires soft, loamy soil and the mild conditions of certain parts of P'Ache Minor, which made it impossible to grow in the harsh climates and rocky ground of P'Ache Prime.
Undaunted, the Primians tried many cross-pollinations with various plants native to the rocky terrain they were looking to transplant the trees into. Eventually, after several decades of trying, they managed to find the right combination. The blentara fruit was plucked for the first time on 17 Ten -101 PT. Several orchards were planted across Teras and it quickly became a staple.

Sharp and Surprising

There are now approximately 17,000 blentara orchards across P'Ache Prime, with a further 10,000 on other planets across the Peacekeeper Territories.   The fruit is, on average, 7cm in diameter, with a thin peel making up just less than a centimetre of that measurement. The white flesh inside is broken down into an even number of segments, usually four or six, although as many as twelve have been found in some orchards. Each segment holds a single small seed.

This fruit really sounds delicious. Besides the really nice way of describing its origin, I also love your whole article and world layout. This shows me, that I still have a long way to go with my world, but it gives me a lot of inspiration.
