Intergalactic Farsona

Utility

The Farsona allows verbal communication across great distances. It doesn't allow instant communication, but sending a verbal message can then be picked up, replayed and responded to.
It was initially created to allow military orders to be passed down to fleets so the communication could be sent from one Farsona to many within a short range and then responded to with an acknowledgement or receipt. Later, when the focus was more on diplomacy, the Farsona was worked on and upgraded to allow messages to cross galaxies rather than be held within the confines of a single solar system.

Inventor(s)

It was originally invented by a Pachian scientist who was working in an arm of the military. The name of the inventor has long since been forgotten, as has the fact the Pachians ever had a military.

Access & Availability

There is only one on Vellikka. They are fairly common throughout the universe, but there is only one on Vellikka and as such it is held by the Ruler of The Vell.

Discovery

The Intergalactic Farsona was left on Vellikka by the Jakunguh.
It was discovered by a small group from The Vell when they were venturing into the Milam Mountains and came across a previously undiscovered Place of Spirits (Jakunguh holiday home). The Farsona was one of the two new discoveries found there.
