History
Elisheva was an important ally of the god of war. When they died, and Victoria filled their place, with everything terrible that brought, Elisheva assumed responsibility for what was left.
Nicknames & Petnames
Victoria, when she speaks (rarely) calls Elisheva "Mother". Elisheva corrects her: "Aunt". Victoria obeys, but forgets after a while.
Relationship Reasoning
Elisheva kept what she could of the dead god of war, and what she could of the broken pieces of Victoria. She invested them all in the broken paladin, but the result was still less than a functional person.
Commonalities & Shared Interests
Both of them cared deeply for the god of war. Both of them care for the safety of the kingdom.
Shared Secrets
Neither of them can remember details about the god of war. All that was left was used in place of a soul to create Victoria. Victoria is a demigod revenant.
History
Sköll played a vital part in creating the previous god of war, sacrificing much of his own divinity to do so. When that god died, and Elisheva brought back Victoria, Sköll swore to protect her.
Nicknames & Petnames
Victoria = "Daughter" Sköll = "Father"
Relationship Reasoning
To Sköll, Victoria is his fault and his responsibility. He never wanted to get attached, but it happened again. To Victoria, Sköll is her father.
Commonalities & Shared Interests
Both of them believe in justice and slaying monsters.
Shared Secrets
Neither of them can remember details about the previous god of war. Their portfolios are still linked - Victoria is a demigod, not a deity, but the excess power from Sköll helps make up the difference.
History
The former god of war died in a conflict with Roshan. Roshan feels terrible about it, and terrible about what happened to Victoria. However, his idealism and compassion come into constant conflict with Victoria's Justice and Safety. They can't agree on anything.
Relationship Reasoning
War is antithetical to Roshan's desire for peace.
Commonalities & Shared Interests
Both of them care about the safety of the kingdom, and their followers ever since the previous conflict have always worked closely together. They get along much better than the deities themselves.
Shared Secrets
Neither of them can remember much about the previous god of war, or what actually happened to them. While neither of them can reconcile the memory with their current views, both of them remember Roshan declaring war, not his rival.
History
Not as negative of a relationship as Blythe had with Victoria's predecessor. Blythe still finds Victoria's followers obsession with law and safety insufferable.
Relationship Reasoning
They have opposed interests, but aren't directly antagonistic.
Commonalities & Shared Interests
Both of them care about civilization.
Shared Secrets
Victoria cannot remember her predecessor. Blythe is one of the few who can.
