Aetherfell

The kingdom is from varied terrain, from lowlands perpetually shrounded in magical mist to higher elevations where the fog thins to reveal breathtaking vistas. Three prominent volcanoes - Crystalline Peak, Mount Fengliang and Jade Heights dot the landscape, each producing their unqiue Tianshi Crystals. The land is well-watered by rivers and lakes, with Lake Tianming and Lake Yunxin being the largest bodies of water.

Culture

The population divides naturally between the "highlanders" who dwell above the fog and the "fog dwellers" who have adapted to life in the misted lowlands. Their architecture reflects this divison, with elevated platforms and towers rising above the fog in lowlands areas, while highland settlements incorporate different designs.

Assets

The kingdom's wealth stems from several unqiue sources:
  • Tianshi Crystal mining and crafting
  • Fog magic applications and research
  • Advanced magical education instutitions
  • Agricultural innovations using fog enhancement
  • Crystal-powered manufacturing
  • Feywild trade

History

The fog appeared first during Heraklionian Empire in -1245 HE. This is the time when the fog firstly appeared and mages discovered its magical properties. Later when Aetherfell was connected to The Republic as part of Nangor Lowlands, during this time region of Aetherfell was suffering due to high quotes from The Republic to satisfy their needs as Tianshi Crystals were part of their research to empower their Hextech technologies. After the fall of The Republic in 320, The Aetherfell became autonomous kingdom and Tianshi Crystals were given to Yuanshi Conclave as their responsibility.
