Session XVIII: The City of Glass

General Summary

City of Glass

Adventurers reached City of Glass and entered through its Dome to Ale District as first.

Ale District

They were welcomed by Hurgdan Silverpick, their delegate that will take care of them. Hurgdan told them they are best at ale, mining, smithing. They have the best bear in city and maybe in the Inner Planes - Elemental Ale. Then he mentioned about special game that is played once per 100 years - Game of Fragments, where they need to collect fragment from each city's districts. When they asked Hurgdan about some jobs that would make them some money, he told them about Special Recipe, where they need protection from elementals while cooking new recipe for their Elemetal Ale. They agreed to help with that and managed to protect every single cook and finish the ale which will be ready day before Selkie's week.
Then they've played fragment game - Drink the Elemental, where they needed to drink Elemental Ale, crush stone with their fist and estimate value of gem inside. Only Borygen, Amelia and Kai were able to succeed in this game.
After a while in Ale District, adventurers wanted to explore Wormtown where they were told they can buy some magic items.

Wormtown

They were welcomed by Ormyrr 'The Guide' as they have names no other can pronounce. He told them about their magical shop, exchanges and also told them about recent sword in stone. They explored the stone and found out it was similar to Place of Power, but it couldn't be absorbed, yet the sword couldn't be taken. After a while they came to conclusion it was sword somehow connected to Mystra herself and Dorn asked her for her blessing to take the sword and after Dorn took Tenet to her and promised her something in secret, she granted him his wish to take the sword.
Then they've played fragment game - Ormyrr shows illustration on parchment of magic item and you have recognize it and write it down on a paper.
They've bought several new items from Ormyrr and continued to Jewelers' District.

Jewelers' District

They were welcomed by delegation led by Belnan Nožkovic, halfling. He told them that their district is focused on law and jewelry crafting. They have the most famous academy of law in the whole Inner planes - and the only one. He told them about their small jobs for adventurers, their game and shops. They've decided to visit Academy to finish their game. They also helped them with enforcing law on those who denied to pay their debts - Borygen helped to settle the deal with his old lawyer contact - Better Call Arganinax.
Their fragment game was 10 questions from Interplanar law.
After this activities they've decided to try to follow Amelia's compass to Reveria - the district in the clouds.

Central District

They were welcomed by Riva Andromeda - she told them about the district, their game and that she would like to get rid of competitors and she will pay for this simple task with hefty amount of gold. They agreed to come back later as they are now heading to Reveria - she warned them about it.

Reverie

They've entered Reverie and they were told to just enjoy their time, try every part of it and that all there is needed to be done to win their game. Amelia's compass led to the Palace itself, where no one can go without finishing the game. They bought Yorvik and Lilililia - familiars for Darian and Dorn and tried many of their activities - and this is when the things started to become weird. Nereids - water beings similar to tritons were used as prostitutes and servants almost as if forced to but they were able to hide it as far as possible.
They have gone through the activies anyway and managed to do all of them and they were given the mark that they've succeeded.
Then they've returned to Central District and in The Gilded Gorgon Inn ended their day.
