Tyr
God of Justice, The Even-Handed, The Lord of Justice, The Just God, The one-handed
Tyr is the God of Justice, Honor, and Paladins. Tyr's earliest accomplishment was a battle against Fenrir, a hound of immense horror and dark power. After pushing the hound out of the prime material plane, he was joined by several other gods who helped corner Fenrir in Banehold. There several traps were overlaid to forever trap Fenrir, and stop him from consuming the souls of faithful mortals and gods alike.
Some time later Cyric teamed with Shar to bring about the death of Mystra and the resulting Spellplague. At least this event brought Sune and Tyr onto the same side again, After Tyr had slain Helm in combat for Tymora's hand in marriage. The two of them, with Lanthander's aid, pursued and captured Cyric, imprisoning him for a sentence of one thousand years. After imprisoning Cyric, Tyr abdicated his godhood and granted Torm all his deific power, because the Even-Handed had lost faith in himself and in his ability to lead and judge. Tyr counseled all of his followers to offer their allegiance to Torm. Tyr's portfolio of justice was subsequently absorbed by Bahamut, The platinum dragon.
