Balaam Abraxas was a Wild Elven genie binder. He was a non-noble but said to have some Suli blood, which gave him particularly powerful planar conjuration magic. No dates known. Said to have been forcibly dragged out of the material plane c.510 by a particularly powerful genie that he failed to successfully bind in time. Marid. Dragged to the plane of water. Marid historian storytellers indicate that he escaped from them not long afterwards, somewhere around 530-ish. Believed he'd escaped back to the material plane but if so he's not been seen since.
Wealth & Financial state
According to Carnegie’s Encyclopediæ, Balaam is the fourth richest individual in history. It is thought that, after binding a Genie in his magical lamp and wishes for wealth, Balaam was given the ability to turn anything he touched into gold - including part of his own face.
