The Church of the Beggar Man is one of the sactioned Human churches in Palimpsest. It operates under the constellation of the Beggar Man and answers to the noble Bakerstreet Family.

Agriculture & Industry

The Church of the Beggar Man brews and sells its own brand of Gin called "Beggar's Gin". Like regular gin, Beggar's Gin is made from fermented Juniper berries. However, since the church has a greater access to the berries than most regular citizens, it can afford to distill the gin with a higher alcohol concentration than the gin available in the markets or taverns. If possible, worshippers of the Beggar Man will use the Beggar Gin brand in their Trickmas celebrations, both to drink and to soak the Gin Bread, which is traditionally served during the festivities.

Political Influence & Intrigue

The Church of the Beggar Man has the ear of the Bakerstreet Family, who oversee the city's police force. Although not confirmed, this could allow a certain maliability of the city laws within the Church itself that would be inkeeping with the spirit of the Beggar Man's faith.
