Elven Transliteration of the Saffron Grimoire

A book written in Elven claiming to be a transliteration of the contents of the Saffron Grimoire from the original Necril. The book has no listed author other than the translation being attributed to "A Person of Interest". The book contains a star map for the authoring date, but it is of a sky that no-one in the present day would recognise. The inside cover of the book contains the lyrics to the Song of Carcosa.   Despite only being a transliteration, there is a feeling of wrongness to it. Examining the book in any detail carries the risk of something bad happening.

Historical Details

History

Scrapday, Sailormoon, 1313
Vulpix found a copy of this text in the Understacks after he Alleyported himself, Lindie Asklepa and Chime there to escape the sabotaged Mason Foundry. When briefly skimming the book for anything related to the Shajaras, Vulpix did notice something that briefly caught his eye, but he chose not to go back and check due to the feeling that doing so would risk something bad happening. He chose the worst of both options by turning down the corner of the page he was refusing to check, while still not actually looking at what it said.
