Ironwood Grove

The Ironwood Grove is an intermediate realm in the religion of Termagant, the Iron Sultan(a). Located in the depths of the Throneforge, just through the kitchen, the Ironwood Grove is a controlled orchard forest that grows nuts and fruits, including apples with a metallic sheen.

The Reforged

When Termagans die, they are believed to travel to the Throneforge, where they are melted down and smelted into a transitionary soul, the Reforged. These petitioners of Termagant's realm inhabit the Ironwood Grove, where their essence is tempered by the luxuries of the Grove. After the Reforged have resided in the Iron Grove for long enough, their soul has been hardened and can be forged again into their final Dahzagan form.

Appearance

The Ironwood Grove is a beautiful grassy forest orchard. Nearer the entrance to the Throneforge the trees and fruits are metallic grey, but venturing deeper into the forest reveals more coloured flowers and plants. The Grove smells of cinnamon, and the bark of the Ironwood Trees are harvested by Dahzagan who likely use it in their creation of Warhammer Ale.
The Grove is decorated with wrought iron benches and surrounded by an ivory frescoed wall, studded with amethyst jewels. Travelling far enough along the wall, the wall itself fades from Termagan colours into white and gold marbles, more resembling the colour-scheme of the Amira's Court. The wall eventually leads leads to a grand pair of iron gates, their design inlaid with ivory and amethyst accents. These gates depict a walled garden, a cascading fountain, and an imposing throne. This imagery is reminiscent of Hugo Dargent's first Dream Tea vision.
