Myxomatosis

Myxomatosis is a nasty plague that was designed by alchemists in Palimpsest's history to exclusively target rabbits and Bunbun. At the time it was regarded as a form of pest control, however, it is now illegal to deliberately spread the illness.

History

Takesday, Tailormoon, 1313

Believing that Connie Furr knew about her secret Kitsune identity, Viziera Guinevera Dargent attempted to infect the bunbun of the Noble Court with a Greater Contagion potion carrying myxomatosis. Having sent Seneschal Swiles to purchase the potion from Strychnine's apothecary shop the previous evening, Guinevera served the contagion to Connie, alongside fellow bunbun Echo Bunnyman and Bugsby Cottontail, while they were travelling to a "bunny playdate" at the Baharat Estate. She also gave a glass to Scarlett Dargent, knowing myxomatosis is harmless to foxes, to trick Connie into believing it was safe. Luckily all three bunbun were able to withstand the infection, and Martini identified the contagion before they got the chance drink any more.
