Petal Archive of the Rose

The Petal Archive of the Rose is one of the three primary institutions of the Bramble Church, operating under the supervision of Brer Petallion Rosa. This intricate labyrinth of tunnels, chambers, and alcoves is painted with patterns of twisting briar roses, and corresponds to the third core tennet of Brambleson, the Prince of Rabbits, "Pretty as Roses". As the cultural and educational hub of the faith the Petal Archive exists to preserve the mythology and lore of the Bramble Church. The Curators and Archivists of the Rose work tirelessly to maintain the collection of sacred scriptures, historical accounts, and even some antiquated star charts that are housed within the archive.

Structure

The Petal Archive of the Rose are alleiged to the Rosa family. Brer Petallion Rosa is the current head of the Petal Archive. He oversees the high ranking Curators and the lower ranking Archivists of the Rose.

Culture

While vocal speech is permitted within the Petal Archive, Earspeak is encouraged and the archive is kept very quiet, even for the school that the children of the Bramble Church attend.

Education

The Petal Archive also functions as a school for the children of the Bramble Church. Here, young Bunbun are taught the tenets of the faith, as well as the basic skills they need to navigate life in the warren. The teachings, however, are limited to what the church deems necessary and appropriate for the children to know, ensuring that their beliefs and values align with those of the Bramble Church.
