On Copperday, Tinkermoon a group of Mongrelmen and several Divs invade the estate of the Baharat Family, attempting to steal the Baharat's newborn Subvizier, Sumac Baharat.
Coming up through a secret passageway that leads into the hutch of the Baharat's Bunbun, Martini is able to put up a bit of a fight and get word to her friend, Hugo Dargent. Through a combination of being an extremely fast runner, and able to turn invisible, Hugo sneaks past the blockade of Mongrelmen who are preventing the Baharat's existing guard from entering the Estate and is able to snatch the baby Sumac Baharat from his crib before the Mongrelmen can take him, saving the life of the baby.
