General Summary
Solus, ever the shining hero, put out a call for any brave adventurers to assist in the daring rescue of a damsel in distress! Er, her husband at least. He enjoyed a pretzel at the Death Dells tavern while he waited for his party to gather.
Heading to the West Havendocks, the last known location of the missing husband, Solus, his men, and Alik, found a shady-looking individual with the information they needed. To Solus’ disappointment, Shem Tobin was simply a hired hand and not an evil enemy worth smiting to smithereens. Tobin gave up the location of a secret religious meeting of Umberlee, that was being held at the old Pern settlement.
Arriving at Pern they learned that a ritual was underway out at sea. Farouk picked a fight by casting Blindness on the individual who looked “in charge” and Solus loudly complained about being stuck on a boat. As soon as the cleric was afflicted with loss of sight he instructed his Wereshark lackeys to throw a man, who was bound and weighted with a large stone, overboard.
Combat ensued! Alik and Solus fought from the raft, Farouk did his share from the rowboat, and Kaelvain inspired them all with his drums. Solus was brought near to tears when he slayed the evil cleric of Umberlee without a chance to save his soul. And through his distraught, he reprimanded Farouk for killing the Weresharks after combat was over.
Sana Reldose was grateful for the return of her husband, planting a kiss on each of their cheeks. Even Kaelvain with that weird looking mask.
