Where's my Chicken!!
General Summary
Crik Crak saw a board post from a local farmer in Falcon's Hollow who needed assistance. He decided to find a group of adventurers who could help him. Taking up the call was Anathema, Axel, and Salmon who joined him at the Flame of the Forest Inn. After greetings and some staring contests, the group portal hopped from Xiomara to Trader's Cusp and walked to Falcon's Hollow from there. Upon arriving they asked for the location of the farm from the board post and were able to get it after ordering some flapjacks from Jack o' Napes.
Upon arriving to the farm they learned that a few local rapscallions had stolen one of the prized chickens from it. The farmer named Dan asked them to hunt the thieves but first to help him return some chickens that had gotten out of their pen first. Anathema entered into the pen and was immediately attacked by an angry rooster but was able to grapple it. Crik Crak was able to easily herd the chickens using his druidic abilities.
After returning the chickens to their coop, Crik Crak was able to use his tracking skills to start the search even through the rain. He identified three sets of tracks that Anathema was able to identify as Gnome footprints. After about an hour they came to an area that had an unpleasant smell. Axel knew that the smell was coming from a skunk and found it digging in the ground near some crops. When he started to grow claws, the skunk sprayed him with it's musk causing him to feel sickened. Afterwards though, Axel and Anathema were able to easily take it down.
Following the tracks again, they came upon three haggard looking gnomes who were hiding on the road. Anathema issued a warning for them to come out or die if they tried to run. The gnomes agreed to come out but when it was said that they'd be returned to the farmer, one of them tried to run. Anathema and Axel quickly cornered her while Salmon was able to intimidate the other two into staying and then coerced them to help the party find the chicken and return to the farmer in exchange for some food.
With the help of the gnomes, it didn't take long to find the chicken which was being chased by a couple of weasels. With quick action by Axel and Anathema, they were easily able to destroy the Weasels with only Crawk the Roc being harmed by their nasty bite. Afterwards, the party returned to the farm where they got their reward and enjoyed a nice home cooked meal.
