Mother-Deep Worship

the Deep-dwellers of the Nidari Reach worship a great leviathan fish that dwells in the depths of the ocean, yet is able to swallow the whole world. she created and consumes all, and the sun is her lure. 
Questions:

• what are the details of the afterlife? are they a mystery or matter of dispute, even within the religion? reincarnation?
• how compatible is it with Gyrism?

Mythology & Lore

Mother Deep created all, and those who dwell in the shallows or worse, the surface, have been led astray by her Lure.
When you die, your consciousness remains in your body until you are physically consumed by Mother Deep - the dead are prepared as if they are a meal, and sunk into the deepest parts of the ocean. they are often buried with a Current-Board set to help pass the time.
Many of Mother Deep's encounters with Eginego are recorded in the myths of the Nidari, though they are not often accepted in the deep.

Worship

• Carry out Terize (see Nidari) to wash away your deeds and thoughts so that Mother deep can taste them and judge you - only the guilty don't wash. Terize are known by a different, older name in the Deep.
