Democratic Republic of Tojsil

After The Great War  the people of Kingdom of Tojsil weren't happy with the way the king, Seldrir XIII dragged the country into the war on the side of Nagri. A group of individuals were able to take advantage of the situation, and with help from the winning side of the war, set up a tribunal against those they believed responsible for getting the country into the war on the wrong side. The tribunal eventually sentenced the King and Queen to death, and decided that Tojsil would be a republic from then on, calling it the Democratic Republic of Tojsil.

A couple of years later someone looked up the word Democracy in a dictionary and pointed out to the president that in their case it was a misnomer. About thirty years later the country’s first democratic elections were held, and all the political prisoners of the regime were released, including the guy who told the president that they weren’t really a democracy.
