Seldrir XIII (ˈseldɾiɾ)

King Seldrir Ginse Cungramud

The regent of Tojsil during The Great War.

Seldrir's father was assassinated at the opera house in the Tojsil capital, when Seldrir was thirteen years old, just before the Great War. The old king tried to advise the Emperor to not attempt an invasion of Sew Bli, which would be a war crime. The court advisers, who turned out to be Nagri infiltrators, advised Seldrir to support Nagri in the war efforts.

When Nagri eventually attacked Tojsil, with an attempted invasion, a group of high ranking officers from all branches of Tojsil Military, overthrew the monarchy, placed Seldrir under house arrest. They also seized the queen and the advisers, who'd been Nagri infiltrators. The council of officers lead the Tojsil military in pushing back the invasion force, all the way to Edaris Pelu, ending the war.

The officers set up a tribunal which tried and convicted Seldrir XIII for treason and sentenced him to death, along with the queen, the advisers. One officer on the council, and who served as a judge, wanted to have the newborn prince executed as well, but was downvoted. A courtier was able to smuggle the Prince out of the palace, and out of the country, and was never seen again.
