Tufor Mym

A famous hill on Sew Bli, known for its spectacular view, and a popular place, among local teens, to go on dates.

Tufor Mym is also the place where three teenage boys found the first Ark Ship, buried just below the hill. The find lead to the invasion of Sew Bli, by Nagri forces, which in turn was the start of The Great War.

In the early days of the war, Nagri forces invaded Sew Bli and tried to destroy the ship, just before Thieian forces took the island back. To ensure the safety of the Ark Ship, Thieian authorities excavated the ship and moved it to the mainland for safe keeping. After the war they put it in a museum in Dot Clyr, where it still stands. A nonprofit organization restored the hill, as best they could, to look the way it did when the ship was still buried under it.

Geography

Tufor Mym is the main feature of large park area, called Tufor Mym Park, which has a visitor’s center/shop, camping grounds, a miniature golf course, and a hiking trail. From the parking lot and visitors center one of the many trails leading away from there, leads to the hill itself. The trail is about a kilometer long, and as it’s uphill a lot of the way, it takes a little over fifteen minutes to walk.

The hill itself has an unobstructed view of the ocean to the west, and the best time to visit Tufor Mym is at sunset. It’s very popular among young people on the island to bring your date there for sunset, to make out, or even get laid.
