Frosted Library

The Frosted Library is set into the hill that Grayhill gets its name from, near the base. Some poorly understood arcane force keeps the halls and rooms of the building unpleasantly cold and dry for most races, but it has the side effect of keeping the books well preserved. It winds deep into the hill and spans several floors down from ground level, but only the topmost floor is easily accessible. It is named for its large metal front door, which is inscribed with runes and sigils and has a coating of frost in all but the hottest weather.
The head librarian (and full-time resident) of the library is Laumia Runeseeker Kalagakane - as a goliath she's less bothered by the cold than most.
