Black Fang
The Black Fang was a shadowy organization that used to operate out of the slums of Florence. They were skilled in thievery, fraud, and sometimes murder if the price was right. They were all con-artists that hoped to bend the public to their will via manipulation that targeted important figures in the community. Their desire to stay out of the public eye turned them into an urban legend of sorts. While their reign of terror was impressive, their trust for their fellow gang members came crashing down after a rookie named Yasir la Ahad managed to kill their leader.
Under his rule, the Black Fang turned into organized chaos and any subtly to their crimes was thrown out of the window in favor of an openly hostile presence. They operated outside of the city to avoid the attention of the local guards. Several years in, Yasir brought Kraughton Paka onboard, which only heightened the gang's power. Once Asri Kociak joined, the Black Fang was a nearly unstoppable force of brutality. Everywhere they went, they left a trail of destruction in their wake. Many communities were left crippled by their greedy, hedonistic ways and rival gangs were either exploited for money or wiped out for being in the Black Fang's territory.
While everyone in the gang was accustomed to life on the road, Yasir treated himself to luxurious inns and expensive nights out in the town. That all went downhill once Krag and Asri left the gang to settle down and raise a family. Without Krag's sheer strength and Asri's brutality, the Black Fang's bite was weaker than its bark. The infamy and attention was fading, as was Yasir's gold. The gang put an emphasis on drug trafficking to bounce back, but some of the more seasoned members had grown disillusioned and wanted out. There was nowhere else to go though and while some fled the country, others were captured by the military and sentenced to death.
All Yasir had was a ruined empire and a handful of wannabe gangsters. Nowadays, the Black Fang has no real sense of power anymore. They're mostly drug runners and several alchemists that craft their products. They operate out of a dilapidated mansion on the outskirts of Florence, though most of the gang members themselves live in a nearby shanty town. Yasir still keeps a tight grip on the Black Fang in a frantic effort to chase after the glory days. People come and go from the gang quite often, so those that utilize their services are never guaranteed to see the same face twice. This causes frequent problems for Yasir as his former associates have been backing out of deals due to issues of trust.
