Princess Asriel Sulratha Kiphi Kociak (a.k.a. Asri, Eayan Alnahr Al'Ahmar)
Born into royalty, Asri was subjected to a life of etiquette lessons and lectures about her responsibilities as her father's only heiress. There was no sense of real freedom within those four, fancy walls she called home. Adolescence hit and after spending too much time around her grandmother, Asri was starting to develop a rebellious streak. Petty crimes turned to serious problems as time went on, but her parents swept it under the rug for the sake of their reputations. They arranged her to marry a rival's son, hoping to forge a powerful alliance with them and finally settle their daughter down.
Unfortunately for them, Asri tried to kill her soon-to-be husband and fled Basilla for the mainland. It was there that she fell in with a gang that was on its last legs. When the opportunity presented itself, she offered up all their information to the Black Fang and gleefully watched as her former gang was ripped up from the roots. She decided to join the Black Fang and with time, started to fall in love with their personal executioner, Kraughton Paka .
Her pregnancy came as a surprise, but Asri was excited to have a legacy of her own. Her child would carry on the feral movement her grandmother introduced her to. Krag had other plans though and it wasn't long before Asri found herself forced into a domesticated life. Resentment turned to anger and that anger turned into abuse towards her children. Her reign of terror went unnoticed though because of her quick tongue and threats that Kina's sisters would die if she spoke up. Eventually, she reached her breaking point and in the dead of night, she left the farm for good. It didn't take her long to fall back into old habits, but rather than wander back to the Black Fang, she adopted the title of "Eayan Alnahr Al'Ahmar"; the Eye of the Red River.
Stories spread quickly of a one-eyed catfolk that was terrorizing the towns and villages of Caelsimil. Asri had gone completely feral, killing anyone if they so much as looked at her wrong. Whatever she wanted, she took it by any means necessary. She managed to elude the law for years, but after a trip into the Underdark that left her even more unhinged, she grew sloppy. Kina caught up with her and without wasting a moment, she cut her own mother down and killed the legend that was the "Eayan Alnahr Al'Ahmar”. While her body had been burned to a crisp, she was later resurrected by a coven of hags in need of her services. She obliged, hoping it would also bring the chance to strike her daughter down for besting her.
She succeeded in bringing more pain and trauma into Kina’s life, but ultimately, her daughter came out victorious again. With Jordeira’s help, Asri was killed for good. Her soul was destroyed and consumed by the Nameless One.
