Dragon

Basic Information

Anatomy

Dragons have sturdy bones that contribute to their overall strength and resilience. Their skeletal structure is reinforced with dense, interlocking bones, providing additional protection and support for their massive size. They do not have wings so they crawl on all fours. The scales are harder than steel along with their bones making them very hard to kill. They have a long tail that usually has a ball of spikes on the very end mainly used for offense. They are also equipped with razor sharp teeth and claws.

Genetics and Reproduction

They reproduce with sexual organs but they do not lay eggs. Instead they birth a baby dragon and care for it till it can survive on its own. Pregnency for a dragon usually lasts 2-2.5 years.

Ecology and Habitats

They like to stay in the mountain ranges. Either in caves or sleeping atop the mountain. They come down when they need to feed either on animals or people.

When things start to get cold out they begin to hibernate unless they are a frost dragon in which they just wake up from hibernation.

Domestication

It is extremally hard to domesticate a dragon, you would have to raise it from a newborn in order to fully tame one. It is not impossible but even the most skilled batsmen cant tame a dragon.

Uses, Products & Exploitation

The scales can be used in armor and decorative pieces as they can get very shiny. The teeth and claws can be turns' into weapons since they are already razor sharp. They were used to create the race of Dracon through grotesque surgery and magic. Leading them to be extinct for the most part. Dragons haven't been seen for centuries but that doesn't mean there aren't any out there

Average Intelligence

They are more savage and are averagely smart. Some dragons are very intelligent. Legend says that one was so intelligent it learned how to speak.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

They have a very keen sense of hearing and smell making it very hard to surprise one. Each dragon also has an element attached to it. For example lightning dragons breath lightning, fire breaths fire etc. The scales they wear reflect what element they are.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
The tint of the scales will match what kind of element the dragon is. With those they can also have different shades of those colors. So you may come across 2 different looking lightning dragons. Maybe one is Dark blue and the other is a more light blue.
