Aasimar

Created by the influence of Altir on human fetuses still in their mother's womb. Their partially divine blood is evident in their brightly glowing eyes or wings which sprout from their back.   Many worshippers of Altir would give the clothes off their backs to aasimar, hoping that their generosity or kindness will be seen by Altir as a sort of indulgence. This forms a stark contrast with the disdain of their semi-godly cousins, tieflings.   Being related to the deity of light which guards the realm of eternal paradise affects each aasimar in different ways. While many aasimar see this as a greater reason to do good by their parentage, others have been known to take advantage of this preconceived notion for personal gain. They may be one-third godly, but they are still two-thirds human.
