Thank Gruumsh-One-Eye It's Fryday

Founding

Thank Gruumsh-One-Eye It's Fryday (often shortened to TGIF) was a stand-alone restaurant founded in Hrim in the early 1500's. Started by Andrey "3000" Tibbo, who is reported to have founded the restaurant as an ode to his younger brother Dmitry "3000" Tibbo, TGIF rose to prominence in the Hrim region as a restaurant serving familiar comfort foods from all over pillarin at affordable prices. Contrasting itself with many taverns and inns in the surrounding area, TGIF was a family institution, owned and operated at every level from the chefs to the accountants by members of the Tibbo family.

The first iteration

Initially, TGIF is reported to have been a small food wagon parked squarely in Gratletown's town square. Selling primarily fish, elk, and cheese products, TGIF was renowned for its friendly customer service, high quality food, and musical entertainment. Numerous attempts to relocate the cart by local authorities were met with resistance from the local population that viewed it as a casual meeting place that fostered community. Sometime in the late 1600's, the cart was burned to the ground forcing the Tibbos to rebuild. The gratletown community came together to support the building of a formal restaurant near the town square which stood from 1683 to 9047 in various states of expansion and repair until it was burned down again under mysterious circumstances.
