The Achwat Dynasty (ɑxwɑt)
Tracing its lineage to the Tlatotlys from Xitzol, the Achwat Dynasty was the last independent ruling house of Ysfet in northeastern Ys. When the Yssian unification occured, Ysfet ceased to be an independent pharaonic kingdom and became incorporated as a satrapy under Drennón Tzolagar. The Achwat pharaohs continue to rule as satraps loyal to Tzolagar. The last independent pharaoh, Tra Achwat, accepted Tzolagar’s terms rather than face annihilation. Zitziya Achwat, his great-great granddaughter, now serves as pharaoh of the Citadel and Satrap within the Tzolgaryn Kingdom of Ys.
Largely isolated and protected by desert, among all the Yssian states, Ysfet was the last to bend the knee to Tzolagar. However, because Pharaoh Achwat surrendered to the unified Yssian armies, no further bloodshed or loss of life occurred in Ys, and the Achwat Dynasty was allowed to rule as tributary vassals of a unified Ys.
