Grannoc, the Botanomancer Report
General Summary

Shifra is talking to the tree and the tree is waving arms around. She says the orcs are heading to the lodge on the river. She wants to protect the tree. It is mid-afternoon. At the bottom of the well is the ruins that Herdyr has been sent to find, which is also the source of power that drew Steve to it.
Herdyr tells him about the feywild, and he is very interested, especially about the sentinet trees. He agrees to come with us, taking his books and some other stuff. Some books from previous half-elf wizard who built the house.
He explains how the summoning spell worked so realise that spell didn't work completely. Twig sprites and Anathema carries books. Anathema collects 'Elvish Idioms'. Tharg takes book on preserving meats. Most others were Grannoc's journals. and a pomato plant, herring fern and several others. He doesn't spot Shifra on the way out but spots that the tree in the courtyard is 'doing something'. Shifra has covered whole house in plants to disguise it. the storm is still going on but lightning has stopped. We headed to Conyberry. Herdyr drops the herring fern but Grannoc grows it up from the bottom of the ravine and takes a cutting. Tharg picks up a fish off the tree. Demonbiter eats but not a fan of herring fern (tastes like Quorn). The soldiers in Conyberry are nervous of Grannoc. Some of the scouts have spotted orcs all over the wood. We explain to the captain what happened in the house. The storm looks natural now. Scouts spotted orcs focusing on Falcon's Lodge, and ask us to inform them of any info we have. Sets thug to keep eye on Grannoc.
We cleared the manse but the orcs headed to Falcon's Lodge.
