Triboar Preparations Report

General Summary

Tharg, Herdyr and Anathema return to Triboar, checking in with the competiton HQ, then getting started with preparing their meat and produce. They decide on their menu:
Starter: Huge Giant Crab (preparation roll: )
Meat: Giant goat (prep roll: ) ...
Wine: Bulette (prep roll: ) carpaccio with a mushroom wine sauce.
Sweet: Poached treant fruit (prep roll: ) in mead reduction.

Meeting Ironoath again

The party also went sightseeing, and visited the shopping village and the semi-famous blacksmith shop "Foehammer's Forge". There they saw the artificer cleric Kjarg Ironoath, and Anathema got a finished Ring of Featherfall from him. They also agreed to share their monster ingredients, namely bulette hide and huge giant crab shell, in order for him to create armor for tharg that would be as defensive as heavy armor, but without the disadvantages of covering oneself in metal plates. He asked for the bulette's magic gland too, and is eager to see if he can harness the bulette's sense connection to the ground for the user as well. Kjarg also fixed up a +1 crossbow for Herdyr, and has a variety of magic bolts to trade as well.

A captive orc boy

Passing through the centre of town, the Players noted a square iron cage outside the sheriff's tower. He wanted out of the town before Midsummer, and told the party that the Chosen of Yartrus (not uterus) were planning to invade the town on midsummer. The party decided to set some defences around the town, and to keep the orc boy under arrest so they could get more information in the future.
