Primogen, Chantry Leader, Blood Sorcery Master.... His titles go on. Gerald is one of the founding Kindred of Philadelphia, his power base goes back hundreds of years. As the chosen Tremere to be sent out to the New World he took it upon himself to pick and choose the absolute best of the best to be brought into the fold of his clan.
He has weeded out many who could not make it in his eyes and demands the best from everyone he turns. Now he only has a small class of Tremere students. In the age hes fancies himself a professor and leans into that motif. He will grade the preformance of everyone who practices within his walls and will send out those who have the nessisary means to keep a cool head while the Second Inquisition is at their doors.
It was because of his almost insane need of secrecy that kept the Inquisition from banging down his walls while they burned out the Camarilla from Philadelphia. And now he has only become more paranoid of what the next night brings as the Anarchs have taken over the city.
