Nasirdin Abilot
Nasirdin is an ancient Prince. He has ruled over Abilot for more than 60 years. He ascended around 5270, when his grandmother retired from the post. In his youth Nasirdin inadvertently caused the Andirral Insurrection by harshly punishing a noble family that was caught spying on Kowloon. This cascaded into the current state of affairs in the Abilot Nebula - The region containing both Abilot and Andirral.
From the young and passionate man that fought Andirral during the insurrection, and then attempted to choke the life out of Andirral with the blockade and embargo, Nasirdin has slowly cooled into a very calm and considerate man. The crisis that his house was thrust into requiring a calm head, skillful leadership and gentle politics. In the 50 years since the truce Abilot has kept any other revolts against his rule, and attempts to defect by bribery, blackmail, and implied repercussions from other houses.
In 5324 Nasirdin withdrew from public life, he now tends his garden leaving his Scion Fathima Abilot as acting Princess without abdicating the throne. Without Nasirdin keeping the minor houses in line factions have begun to emerge all focused on the one question - how to survive the Andirral Crisis?
