The Illuminated
The Illuminated are not one of the fifteen permitted Factions of Sigil and hence are referred to as a Sect.
They ruthlessly seek knowledge for their advancement, both individually and as a sect.
Being relatively small they function more like a cabal than the main factions who have an array of views within their philosophy.
Little is known of them save that they value knowledge of secrets and power above all else and believe that any morality of principle which impinges on their acquisition of either as naïve and irrelevant.
Knowledge is Powerand must be kept Secret.
