Giratina - The Renegade (gee · ruh · tee · nuh)
The Renegade
In every Hisuian legend, Giratina was banished from the world due to its violence. In every iteration, it gazed through the Distortion World, watching the Pokémon World. This is where the legend of Giratina diverges. Many would go on to fight alongside human champions. Some would threaten the Pokémon World once more. Very few would have the guts to challenge its creator, to overthrow it and take the Pokémon World for itself.
Only one succeeded.
A highly vengeful and especially crafty Giratina challenged the Original One after slaying its home dimension's Arceus. Due to the weakened state of the Original One and interference from unknown forces, this Giratina was able to put up a prolonged fight. It took advantage of the weakened state of its home to force the Distortion World and the Pokémon World together, heightening its power and allowing it to access its Origin Forme at will. This Giratina eventually weakened the Original One enough to slaughter it, throwing the Original One down from its celestial throne. With the creator slain, Giratina took the Hall of Origin as its own, fusing it, the Pokémon World, and the Distortion World together. As the new ruler of all, it took on the title of the Renegade God. This aberration caused a rift in the multiverse, triggering a chain reaction.
