Count Alfred
Alfred is the current Vallite Count of Greenleaf. He is a happy-go-lucky soul who enjoys the fresh air and socializing with his subjects. His mother and younger sister both still live and assist him with managing the territory.
Alfred, like his father, was sickly for the majority of his life. While his father passed away from the illness, He has been able to survive due to maintaining his physical health through exercise as well as the advanced medicines that are produced in Greenleaf and Aurora with the powers of herbs, Berries, Grass-type Pokemon, and Fairy-type Pokemon.
Aside from maintaining his health, Alfred manages most of the domestic affairs of his territory, involving public works, educational programs for trainers and research students, and other projects that usually involve agriculture. It is known, however, that he's struggled with foreign diplomacy in the past due to his own naivete and simple-minded wholesomeness. Some citizens of Greenleaf are even concerned that his inept abilities in guile, intrigue, and diplomacy, are worse than that of the young queen, who is notably much younger and has less experience in a position of power.
His younger sister, Celine, is known to handle the more pragmatic situations as well as foreign affairs, with the help of Sir Motonori. While she's considered much smarter and more capable than her older brother, she's also known to be much less forgiving. She cares deeply for her brother and the people of Greenleaf, but this sometimes leads her on a single-minded path that tends to worsen relations with neighboring territories. Alfred doesn't seem to be any the wiser to Celine's worsening relations, however.
Alfred is not known to be very religious, but he does pay respects to the legendary Pokemon Virizion because of the tales of its incredible strength, focus, and dedication.
His partner is Bayleef. There are some concerns about the Count of Greenleaf not having a fully evolved Pokemon: Alfred is notably not as skilled as a Pokemon Trainer than other leaders in Valla.

History
Alfred holds his sister in high esteem, valuing her wisdom, dedication, and her company overall, knowing that her skills in diplomacy and intrigue are extremely helpful in maintaining peace both in his court and beyond Greenleaf's borders. Despite her occasional impatience with his decisions, Celine deeply cares for Alfred and supports him as his sister and trusted advisor. She has stated many times that Alfred is the most important person in the world to her, and works hard for both his sake as well as all of Greenleaf.
