Countess Kai
Kai is the Countess of Ignis, and her personality heavily reflects that of Ignisian culture. She's strong, loud, and loves being around other people, no matter their rank.
Kai is older than Queen Oichi, but not by much. Her father, Hideyoshi, losing his edge both physically and mentally in the past decade, decided that for the sake of his people that it would be better for Kai to take his place, while still helping the county as one of her advisors.
The people of Ignis love Kai, however many have noticed that she often acts without thinking, sometimes taking risks that would offend more "sophisticated" territories. However, she's an expert at bonding with Fire-type Pokemon, with her closest partner being Darmanitan, which originally belonged to her father but now remains by Kai's side.
Her younger brother, Yukimura, is also not seen far from Kai's side. Kai can sometime get on her little brother's nerves, but there is no doubt that their bond is immensely strong, and there is an great mutual respect between them.

Kai would say that her life is pretty simple, but by anyone else's standards, it's anything but.
Kai loves going on crazy adventures across Ignis and finding Pokemon to befriend across the region. As a natural born expert in taming Pokemon. She has numerous amounts of Fire-type Pokemon, but she's most often seen nowadays with her Darmanitan, which originally belonged to her father.
She adores her little brother, Yukimura, even though he's often annoyed with her antics, and has stepped in on numerous occasions to help and protect him on his own endeavors within Ignis.
Kai worships in the Pokemon of Truth, Reshiram, and the Pokemon of Rebirth, Ho-oh. Kai values honesty, which she views as deeply tied to Ignisian honor. She admired the honesty of her father in realizing that he was no longer the best option to lead his people, and in the new life that her family now leads in the era of her time as Ignisian's new ruler. She also believes in the creator, Arceus, but worships it in the regards of its Fire-type abilities.
