Count Yoshimoto
Yoshimoto is the Crimean Count of Crysalia. He's one of the few older leaders currently within the entire kingdom of Valla, but some would argue that he acts the most immature. He is the embodiment of the lavishness that Crysalia benefits from due to its success in trading goods.
His rule has lasted several decades, and these decades have been a time of peace and prosperity not just for Crysalia, but for all of Valla. Yoshimoto has taken advantage of his position as a wealthy ruling lord in a trade-heavy nation during peacetime and has lived a life full of relaxation, gluttony, and apathy.
His popularity comes from local and foreign merchants who have successful business within his borders. Locals aren't impressed with his current way of ruling, leading to several council members and other members of his court to try and govern the best that they can to prevent an uprising.

Family Ties
Yoshimoto no longer has a legal spouse and has not had one for many years. He is divorced from Lady Mikoto of Valora, the sister of the current ruling lord of Valora, Count Ieyasu. She has since remarried and continued with her life in her homeland.
The divorce was enforced by Ieyasu himself, citing his weakness in leadership and poor treatment of his sister. To prevent a war, however, certain agreements had to be made so that peace could be kept, one of them being that their sons would stay in Crysalia while their daughter returned to Valora and become ineligible for Crysalian inheritance. He has multiple escorts, however, and as a result he has multiple eligible heirs to his seat of power. There are two sons of Mikoto, Kagetsu and Hinata, both of which stayed in Crysalia, with the daughter Kagero returning to Valora.
He has eight other children between his three escorts, for a total of eleven children, ten of which being eligible heirs who all live in Crysalia.

Religious Views
Much like the majority of the wealthy populus in Crysalia, Yoshimoto is highly agnostic, not worshipping any deity, largely due to the lack of a Bug-type deity.
