Elder Chief

In each clan of the Polarians, there can only be one Elder Chief, chosen by amazing leadership and wisdom of ancient ancestor knowledge. The Elder Chief of each clan is essentially the leader of that clan for all decisions, including tactics related to warfare, if he or she ever gets involved. Proven loyalty and dedication to the clan, as well as vast knowledge of the past is required to be considered into the position of an elder. Once appointed, the elder remains in that rank until the time of their death.

Appointment

Generally appointed by the people of the clan, though there is not specifically clear process to do so.

Responsibilities

Overseeing the total health, well-being, and operational capacity of their clan in all aspects. The chief is also responsible for delivering rare prophecies sought out by the ancient ones of their clans, though prophecies are rarely given.
