Grand Mage

Grand Mage is a reserved title specific within the Polarian clans. While this is only a rank of learning and combat achievement levels, Grand Mage relates to the endured strengths and challenges a magic warrior has accomplished in their time of service. Grand Mages are usually called upon by the Elder Chief to lead other mages into tasks, be it battle or other purposes. Grand Mages are highly respected members of their associated clans, and are never to be trifled with or disrespected. Grand Mages are sometimes referred to as "masters" by their apprentices, but not all mages have an apprentice.
