Daggerwood

The Daggerwood is a large forest which extends through southern Lindor and northern Arvandus. It is said that its name originates from the large number of bandits and highwaymen that prey upon travelers on its primary trade route.
Dangerous creatures are rumored to dwell within the trees of the Daggerwood. The forest is largely avoided except by merchants and travelers using the single major road to traverse the densely wooded region. Only a few hermits and woodcutters live along its edges.
