Married Dorea Black, father of Elinor Potter. Charlus raised his nephew Fleamont Potter after his brother, Henry was murdered by Grindelwald. He spent several years rebuilding Potter Manor, which been burned down by Grindelwald, and eventually died of Dragonpox in 1861.
