Elroe
Elroe is a small farming and fishing village on the western coast of Salian. Nestled on the hills and cliffside with a narrow beach where the docks are situated, the people of Elroe are known for their plesant and friendly demeaner.
Demographics
The population of Elroe is entirely human of Kernowian descent. The population largely work in the fishing industry, as either fishermen or fishmongers. A smaller amount of the population is focused on animal husbandry, mainly in chickens and goats. There is a single village blacksmith who deals in simple goods.
Government
The village is governed by Baron Whitmore, a vassal of Lord Sodlark in Lordsport. The Baron oversees the defence of the village and taxation with the help of a small amount of administrators. Tax administrators are largely brought in from the mainland.
Defences
There are no main defencive buildings in the village, however there is a small contingent of guardsman largely drafted in from Lordsport. The only main defence present around the baron's manor. The manor has a simple stone wall with an iron fence around it, and has numerous safe rooms and defence measures such as archery holes and internal traps. In the event of a large raid or battle, the village would be easily overun.
Industry & Trade
The village is preoccupied with the fishing industry, with their fishing goods being exported by traders to Lordsport for trade internally and externally. Local subsitence needs in terms of food and raw materials are either imported or gathered by the villagers from the nearby Salian Wood.
Infrastructure
The village is simple with mainly scattered houses along the hillside. The docks are the most industrial sector of the village, but largely represent a large jetty for fisherman to dock. Occasionaly larger trade ships will stop here for rest before offloading goods in Lordsport. Commercial trade is largely done in the weekly markets which take place in the village centre, a large gravel plaza with a well and notice board. The West Road from Lordsport travels through the village on the way to Nosha.

Village Blacksmiths: Opperated by Michael Holgrennan, a pleasant but simple man who deals in standard goods. Largely in tools.
Guilds and Factions
The Cove Pirates are rumoured to have a base near the village.
History
Elroe was founded in the third age as pastoral reisdents of the hillands were forcibly evicted by the miner's guild. The village has varied in sizes and been subject to multiple raids from pirates such as the Kraken League and Aedrinaran clans.
Architecture
The village has simple one story cottages throughout the village made of stone or wood with thatched rooves. The only notable exception is the baron's manor, a three story fenced manor with a large and well tended garden.
Geography
The village is nestled amongst the hills, and the buildings scattered amongst them. The coastline has largely cliff based, with a small break where the jetty and stoney beach are based. Nearby the village there are numerous coves within the cliffside.
Natural Resources
The key natural resources of the village are its fisheries and fish stocks. Outside of this, the nearest source of woods and wildlife is in the nearby Salian Wood.
