Joan le Roi is the first daughter of King Louis XX of East Marcia and is the widow of the former Crown Prince of the Eldrian Empire, Henreich Goldwyrm. She is considered to be a caring woman, but rumours persit of a secret love affair between her and her child's guardian, the Viscount Moore. She is the mother to the current heir presumptive of the Empire, Prince Donald the Younger  and resides in the imperial palace in Eldron.
