Trydin Goldwyrm

Trydin Goldwyrm

Trydin Golwyrm, Lord of Taylock, was the son of Francis Goldwyrm, and married Margaret Duchess of Eastaxe. Trydin was know as a cruel and elitist ruler. He was a cruel and hurtful man with a stern approach to crime and punishment. Trydin is known for his political marriage to his second cousin, Margaret the Duchess of Eastaxe, and for fathering Donald I and the attempted rebel Victor Goldwyrm.   Trydin was the grandson of Princess Olivia, the Flower Princess, and great-grandson of Rordin III. His loyal lineage and ambition led him to desire a position on the royal council or for a posting in court, as Taylock County was a small and un-lucrative region to manage within the empire. Trydin also petitoned Queen Mary for colonial positions, but was denied everytime. His ambition and determination to attain royal status is beleived to have led his sons to pursue the same goal.   Trydin died of bowel failure in 930 at the age of 45. His wife, Maragret, died 4 years later. The two are buried in the chapel in Taylock castle despite their marriage being largely loveles.
