Lover's War
The Lover's War was a famous conflict between two Archfey, The Prince of Fools and Lurue. The two were lovers, but had some sort of disagreement and separated from each other. This enraged their followers, and the conflict quickly spiraled into an all-out war between both factions.
The Archfey themselves did not want to go to war, but found themselves unable to stop their followers from inflicting harm upon each other. The fighting eventually ceased when Lurue herself was slain in battle.
After the conflict, The Prince of Fools attended Lurue's funeral. At the funeral he sang a song for his former lover entitled Iron Sword, Silver Spoon. This song quickly gained popularity throughout the Feywild, and even spread to some of the other planes. The lyrics are even engraved upon Lurue's memorial.
