Ragnarok Brand

Those participating in Ragnarok are given brands on their right hand. These brands are both highly visible and highly persistent. If a glove or similar garment is worn over the brand, the brand instead appears on the outside of said garment. In addition if the hand itself is removed then the brand appears on another body part. Usually the left hand if that is available, or the head if neither of those are an option.
The brand features multiple parts:

• The top of the brand features a symbol depicting which Training Game the participant is currently involved in. If between games (or if the participant in question has retired), this instead shows their most recent game.
• A letter. The letter indicates which team the participant is involved in. If unaffiliated, there is no letter. Affiliation can only formally be changed while in The Town between games
• A number. This indicates the number of games they have participated in.
• Stars. A lucky few participants have stars on their brands. These represent unused wishes from previous victories. Once used, the stars are removed from the brand.

Some Training Games, such as the Game of Crowns, add additional information. This normally takes the form of color coding or extra symbols.
