The Age of Mortality

The Age of Mortality is the current age, in which the current Form is Mortality itself. Mortality itself manifests in the form of the Avatar Iapetus, who has been banished to Vigrid but is still causing trouble by summoning gods to The Arena in order to face the judgement of their subjects. This event has been termed Ragnarok by the locals.
This age is characterized by:

• death coming to all things
• revelations that gods act much the same as mortals do
• unusually easy access to the outer planes through Sigil
• mortals gaining power by becoming Conduits and/or elevating themselves to godhood
