Lingering Injury Condition in Primatis | World Anvil

Lingering Injury

When a character is reduced to 0 hit points, rendering it unconscious, they must make a Constitution saving throw (DC equal to 10 or half the damage taken from the attack that rendered them unconscious, whichever is higher). If they succeed, they are not subject to the effects of a lingering injury. On a failure, they must roll another d20 and consult the lingering injury table and suffer the corresponding effects.   A roll of 11 - 20 results in a minor injury, while a roll of 4 - 10 results in a major injury. A roll of 1-3 results in a significant injury.   A minor injury can be healed using the Heal Minor Injury spell, while a major injury can be healed using the Heal Major Injury spell. A significant injury, such as the loss of a limb, can only be restored with a spell such as Regenerate.
